EquipMe Rentals offers backhoe loaders in the 14,000-to-24,000-pound class, with loader bucket capacity of 1.0 to 1.75 cubic yards and dig depth of 14 to 18 feet. Engine output runs 75 to 110 HP. These are commercial-grade machines, maintained on a strict PM schedule, inspected before every rental.
Daily rates start at $275 for smaller models and run to $450 for larger units. Weekly rates are $825–$1,350. Monthly rates for longer projects are $2,475–$4,050. Rates include delivery within 25 miles of our yard. Delivery is quoted upfront — no surprise charges when the lowboy shows up.

What's the difference between a backhoe and an excavator?
A backhoe is a tractor-based machine with a loader on the front and a digging arm on the rear — highly versatile for smaller digs and material loading. A full-size excavator is purpose-built for digging and has greater reach, bucket capacity, and stability for larger earthmoving jobs. For residential utility work and foundation prep, a backhoe is usually sufficient. For commercial-scale excavation, a full excavator is the right tool.
Can you deliver a backhoe to a Henderson or North Las Vegas job site?
Yes. We serve Henderson, North Las Vegas, Boulder City, Summerlin, Enterprise, Spring Valley, and Paradise as part of our standard service area. Delivery fees are calculated by distance from our yard in the 89115 area. Most sites in the metro are within our standard delivery range.
Do I need a CDL to operate a rented backhoe?
The backhoe itself does not require a CDL to operate on a private job site. However, you do need appropriate training and experience — OSHA requires that all equipment operators be trained for the specific machine they're operating. If you don't have a qualified operator on staff, we can provide one through our wet hire service.
