Common Questions

Training FAQs

Do I need prior experience to take a course?

Most of our courses require no prior experience -- just a valid ID and be at least 18 years old. The NCCCO Crane Operator Prep course recommends a CDL, but it is not required to enroll.

How long is the certification valid?

OSHA forklift certification is valid for 3 years. OSHA 10-Hour and 30-Hour cards do not expire, though refresher training is recommended. NCCCO crane certifications are valid for 5 years.

Do you offer group or on-site training?

Yes. For groups of 3 or more, we offer discounted rates. For groups of 5+, we can bring training directly to your jobsite or facility. Contact us for a group quote.

Is OSHA 10-Hour required in Nevada?

Yes. Nevada requires all construction workers to complete OSHA 10-Hour training within 15 days of employment on a construction site. Supervisors are recommended to complete the 30-Hour course.

What happens if I fail the certification exam?

For our operator training courses, you can retake the practical evaluation at no additional charge within 30 days. For NCCCO prep, we will work with you on additional practice time before your official exam.

Can my employer pay for the training?

Absolutely. We accept company purchase orders, credit cards, and checks. Many employers cover training costs as OSHA requires employers to provide training at no cost to employees.
