Accessibility Statement
Version: v1.0 | Last Updated: April 29, 2026
1. Commitment
EquipMe Rentals is committed to making https://equipme.rentals accessible to people with disabilities. We work to ensure our Services are usable by the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology.
2. Conformance Target
We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Conformance is an ongoing effort; we improve continually as we identify gaps.
3. Compatible Technologies
The Services are designed to be compatible with:
- Screen readers: modern versions of NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (macOS / iOS), TalkBack (Android)
- Browsers: the latest two stable versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge
- Operating systems: current and prior versions of Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android
- Input methods: mouse, keyboard, touch, and assistive input devices
If you use older or specialized technology and encounter access barriers, please contact us — see Section 6.
4. Known Limitations and Alternatives
Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Known limitations are tracked internally and addressed in priority order. If you cannot access content, contact us at equipmellc@gmail.com and we will provide an accessible alternative.
5. Assessment Approach
We assess accessibility through a combination of:
- Self-evaluation by our development team using WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria
- Automated testing with industry-standard tools (e.g., axe DevTools, Lighthouse)
- User feedback from people with disabilities
- Third-party accessibility audits scheduled as part of our ongoing improvement plan
Date assessed: April 29, 2026.
